Before joining Kitsap Law Group, Christy worked for seven years with the Kitsap County Prosecutor's Office, where she defended the County and its officers in tort lawsuits, including a variety of complex wrongful death and civil rights matters. She also served as Assistant City Attorney for the City of Sumner, where she gained experience in general municipal law. ## Admissions Christy is admitted to practice in all Washington courts, the U.S. District Court of Western Washington and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has tried and argued cases in municipal court, state court and federal court. ## Education Christy grew up in Kitsap County and graduated from Bainbridge High School. She earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Studies, with a minor in Hindi, from Loyola University in Chicago in 2005, and her law degree from Seattle University. ## Outside the office Christy lives on the Kitsap Peninsula with her husband, three sons and two mini Aussies.
