This policy explains what information Kitsap Law Group collects through this website and how it is used. We have kept the site simple on purpose, so the list is short.
What this website does not do
- No analytics. The site does not run analytics or visitor tracking tools.
- No advertising or retargeting. The site does not load advertising pixels, retargeting tags or similar tracking code.
- No cookies of its own. The site itself does not set cookies. A third-party service embedded on a page may set its own cookies, as described below.
- No sale of information. We do not sell, rent or lease your personal information.
The contact form
If you send us a message through the contact form, the form collects:
- your name
- your phone number
- your email address
- the practice area you select
- your message
- the address of the page you sent the form from
- a referral tag that shows how the form was reached (for example, which page or link led to it)
When you submit the form, this information is sent to the firm through a Google Apps Script web app and stored in a Google Sheet that Kitsap Law Group controls. Google provides the service that carries and stores the submission.
We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and to follow up about it. Sending a message does not create an attorney-client relationship, so please do not include confidential details about your matter in the form. See our disclaimer for more.
The embedded map
Some pages show an embedded Google Map so you can find our Silverdale office. When the map loads, Google may set its own cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy. Kitsap Law Group does not control or receive that information.
Links to other sites
The website links to the firm's pages on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. If you follow those links, those sites may collect information about you under their own privacy policies. This policy does not cover other websites, and we recommend reading the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Those server logs are handled by Cloudflare under its own policies.
How we protect your information
Submissions from the contact form are kept in a Google Sheet that only the firm controls. We take reasonable steps to limit access to that information to the people who need it to respond to you. No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect what you share with us.
Sharing
We do not share contact form information with third parties except the service providers described above that carry and store it, or when the law requires us to.
Questions or requests
If you have a question about this policy, or would like us to update or delete information you sent through the contact form, please reach the office through our contact page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
